We are seeking an experienced Marketing Executive to join our team. This post will help the marketing and communications team to plan and deliver multichannel marketing activities, including sales activities, lead generation and awareness campaigns; customer, colleague and stakeholder communication and engagement, and activities that support customer retention for BH Live Active’s leisure centres, sports facilities, attractions and parkland across Dorset and Hampshire.
As a versatile and experienced marketeer, and team player, you will be passionate about establishing key information to plan, develop and deliver vibrant and engaging content and campaigns for use across various platforms, including but not limited to digital, media, print, audio and video channels. Combining excellent communication and marketing skills to establish briefs and deliver high-quality campaigns and projects for agreed outcomes, you will have an eye for detail, be extremely organised, able to work to a budget and deadline, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced and flexible environment. You will be quick to form positive and professional working relationships. Liaising with colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders is key to ensuring output is engaging, factual, follows process and achieves the desired outcome. Demonstrating activity outcomes will help inform and shape future marketing activity.
To be successful you will need:
- A relevant qualification and substantial experience working within a marketing team
- Experience in creating, placing and analysing traditional marketing content (such as print, advertising, out-of-home, broadcast) as well as using digital marketing tools and platforms (apps, websites, email marketing and social media).
- To be a great communicator (verbal and written) and able to quickly form collaborative relationships with colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders.
- To have a keen interest in sport and leisure, including but not limited to gyms, swimming, exercise classes, football, tennis, gymnastics, leisure attractions, health and wellbeing activities.
- Curious and interested in industry and local community trends and opportunities.
