Administration Jobs In Bournemouth & Poole

Poole Lighting Ltd are currently looking for a Logistics Planner to be based at their Christchurch Warehouse. The ideal candidate will have proven logistics planning experience, as well as excellent knowledge in WMS and ERP.

You will be required to deliver accurate planning of customer orders through DC, RCC and Dropship (e-commerce) channels.

Continuous review of customer order books, current stock levels and inbound stock will allow you to successfully plan, group, release and book workloads with the warehouse team to deliver customer orders on time and in full.

You will also help to update our WMS with setup required for successful receipt and distribution of the customer accounts under your remit.

Responsibilities

  • Logistics planning and coordination of our customers’ orders from point of receipt through to delivery
  • Keeping yourself informed and up to date on any issues (e.g. QC, delayed goods) that could contribute to customer deliveries being delayed
  • Contribute to the maintenance of training manuals.
  • Keeping the business informed of current logistics plans and any obstacles in achieving delivery deadlines.
  • Deliver a positive and calm approach to problem solving.
  • Provide cover for other members of the logistics planning team.
  • Ensure safe working practices are adhered to & contribute to identifying H&S issues and associated resolving actions.

The team is small and friendly, therefore we are looking for a team player; the environment is calm but can be high paced and working to tight deadlines to get orders, documentation out to the warehouse / drivers. So, the individual must be methodical and timely and poised.
