The Liberty Project is recruiting a Data & Compliance Lead to play a vital role in strengthening how we evidence impact, meet contractual requirements, and continuously improve the quality of our services supporting survivors of modern slavery. This is a high-impact role at the heart of the Project — combining data intelligence, compliance assurance, and service improvement to support informed decision-making and excellent, safe service delivery.
About the role
As Data & Compliance Lead, you will work closely with the Liberty Project Leadership Team, ensuring we meet contractual and regulatory requirements while turning complex data into clear insight that drives action. You may work across one or multiple services and will:
- Lead on the collation, analysis, and reporting of management information, trends, and outcomes
- Measure impact and provide clear recommendations to inform operational and strategic decisions
- Build and maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports and management review packs
- Respond to ad hoc data requests with accuracy and confidence
- Monitor, review, and improve usage of our case management system (CMS)
You will also take ownership of key compliance functions, including:
- Managing secure data processes, such as Subject Access Requests
- Ensuring data protection, accuracy, and governance standards are met
- Delivering training to teams on CMS usage and reporting best practice
- Reviewing systems and processes and introducing smarter, more effective ways of working

Strong proven experience in the use of case management systems, advanced Excel skills and the ability to extract and analyse large data sets, accurately and to tight deadlines.
A proven ability to think critically and creatively and impact on, and influence, performance and outcomes using a solution-focussed approach.
Experience of evaluation or impact measurement.
The communication skills it takes to develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
A flair for report writing and the confidence to create and deliver presentations to a varied group of internal and external stakeholders.
