South West based charitable housing association BCHA was founded over 50 years ago with a continuing mission to meet housing need and end homelessness. We’ve developed an innovative engagement model informed by our extensive experience delivering Housing First services, our partnership with Homeless Link, and respected research from The King’s Fund. Now, we’re looking for a passionate Specialist Support Worker to join our team and help us drive meaningful change in the lives of those who need it most.
What You’ll Do:
- As a Specialist Support Worker, you’ll deliver intensive, personalised support to a small caseload of individuals who have experienced homelessness.
- Your role will focus on:
- Helping individuals access and maintain suitable accommodation
- Supporting them in engaging with opportunities for meaningful occupation
- Building trust-based relationships to promote positive and sustained change
