Are you ready to lead a service that empowers young people to thrive?

As Lead Service Coordinator at BCHA, you'll oversee the day-to-day running of a supported accommodation service for young people with a range of support needs.

This is more than just providing accommodation—it's about creating a safe, nurturing environment where young people can build confidence, develop independence and take positive steps towards their future.

You'll lead a dedicated team of Support Workers, ensuring support is person‑centred, trauma‑informed and delivered within a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE).

Working closely with the Senior Practitioner, you'll inspire your team to provide consistent, high‑quality support that helps young people overcome barriers and achieve their goals.

In this role, you will

  • Lead and support a team of Support Workers to deliver outstanding, person‑centred support.
  • Oversee the day‑to‑day running of the service, ensuring a safe, welcoming and supportive environment.
  • Embed trauma‑informed and psychologically informed approaches throughout the service.
  • Support young people to develop independence, resilience, confidence and essential life skills.
  • Work in partnership with Social Care, Education, Health and Mental Health Services and other local agencies to provide coordinated support.
  • Build strong relationships with community organisations, training providers and employers to create opportunities for young people.
  • Work alongside the Senior Practitioner and wider leadership team to continually improve and develop the service.
