Old Town Infant School and Nursery and Oakdale Junior School, both part of the Coastal Learning Partnership, are looking for a minibus driver to transport pupils between the two sites.
Times of work: 10 hours per week (approximately 8‑9am and 3‑4pm, Monday to Friday). Term time only (38 working weeks per year).
Salary: Grade 4, 6–9 (£13.47–£14.13 per hour). Start date: September 2026. Fixed term for one year initially.
Requirements
- Positive character who will enjoy working with children.
- Competent, safe driver with a clean licence.
- Category D on licence (required for drivers who qualified before 1 January 1997).
- Prepared to engage in a two‑hour minibus driver awareness training session arranged by the school.
- Qualified first aider or willing to be trained.
- Will meet the essential elements of the person specification and be subject to pre‑employment checks including a health check, an Enhanced DBS check, a Child Barred List check and satisfactory references.
