Salary & Employment: Pay Band 7 – Starting salary £24,116 (full‑time equivalent £32,061). Full‑time part‑time at 32.5 hrs/week, permanent contract, 39 working weeks per year. Closing date 26 June 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support interventions, teacher management time, PPA and absence, and undertake classroom support work on occasions.
  • Assist pupils across the 4–19 age range.
  • Deliver, assess and report on lessons to a high standard in line with school policies and planning.
  • Proactively enhance children's learning, making it enjoyable and purposeful.
  • Provide nurturing, caring support and maintain high expectations of children's behaviour.
  • Act as a senior teaching assistant to support and lead other teaching assistants.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or equivalent/higher qualifications.
  • Ability to lead and support other teaching assistants.
  • Skill in working in a special school setting and across a broad age range.
  • Excellent teamwork, enthusiasm, and dedication to the role.
