Longfleet CE Primary School is seeking a Cleaner to join the site team and support the school’s cleaning needs.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Carry out cleaning of the interior of the school to an agreed standard under the direction of the Site and Operations Manager.
  • Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and general hygiene in the school premises.
  • Work 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 2 hours before or after school (times to be agreed), and 39 hours in school holidays.
  • Other duties as directed by management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience of undertaking a cleaning role.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a consistent standard.
  • Willingness to undergo pre‑employment checks, including a health check, Enhanced DBS, Child Barred List check, ID verification and satisfactory references.

Salary & Benefits

  • Grade C, SCP 3‑4 (£12.85 – £13.05 per hour).
  • Actual salary: £6,318 – £6,590 per annum pro rata.
  • Permanent position, starting ASAP.
