Longfleet CE Primary School is seeking a Cleaner to join the site team and support the school’s cleaning needs.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Carry out cleaning of the interior of the school to an agreed standard under the direction of the Site and Operations Manager.
- Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and general hygiene in the school premises.
- Work 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 2 hours before or after school (times to be agreed), and 39 hours in school holidays.
- Other duties as directed by management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience of undertaking a cleaning role.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a consistent standard.
- Willingness to undergo pre‑employment checks, including a health check, Enhanced DBS, Child Barred List check, ID verification and satisfactory references.
Salary & Benefits
- Grade C, SCP 3‑4 (£12.85 – £13.05 per hour).
- Actual salary: £6,318 – £6,590 per annum pro rata.
- Permanent position, starting ASAP.
