Hamworthy Primary Federation is located in a beautiful part of Dorset, on the edge of the Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch conurbation – bordering onto Poole Harbour. The setting allows children to be immersed in the life of a coastal town. The school grounds back directly onto Hamworthy Park, where children can play after school, participate in water activities in the paddling pool and enjoy the beach lifestyle that it brings.
Contract & Schedule: 12.5 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (Term Time + INSET days + 1 additional week to be worked over the holidays). Monday to Friday – 3.30pm – 6pm. Permanent contract.
Salary: Poole B Pay Scale £7,483.54 (actual) £25,219 per annum full time equivalent.

Role Summary: Hamworthy Primary Federation is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and organised Cleaner to join our supportive Premises team and work across both of our schools. The role plays a vital part in the daily running of our amazing Federation. We are looking for someone who takes great pride in their work, pays attention to detail and wants to provide a safe, well‑maintained environment for all of our children and staff.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Deliver a consistently clean environment with excellent attention to detail within given timeframes.
- Be reliable, punctual and willing to create a clean, bright, safe and secure environment.
- Show experience of working in a team and effectively liaising with colleagues and teaching staff.
- Be willing to gain knowledge of Health and Safety (training will be provided).
- Have good communication and organisation skills.
- Maintain a flexible, solution‑focused approach and attitude to work.
- Be approachable and a good team player.
