Lilliput CE Infant School – 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Term time only, 38 weeks per year. Fixed term: 1 September 2026 – 31 August 2027. Hourly rate: £13.26 – £13.47. Annual salary (pro‑rated): £25,989.
Responsibilities- Provide one‑to‑one support to children with specific learning needs.
- Motivate, encourage and facilitate independent learning.
- Assist with curriculum delivery and daily routines in line with the school’s Christian ethos and behaviour policy.
- Previous experience as a school‑based TA or working with children with special educational needs.
- Experience employing strategies that support independent learning.
- Commitment to the school’s Christian ethos, vision, values and behaviour policy.
- Successful completion of health check, Enhanced DBS, Child Barred List check and satisfactory references; not barred from regulated child‑related activity.
- Full‑time equivalent salary with pro‑rated pay for 27.5 hours per week.
- Fixed‑term employment until 31 August 2027.
- Supportive, values‑led learning environment rooted in Christian ethos.
