We are currently recruiting for a number of exciting Seafront roles here at BCP.
Role Purpose: Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the entire seafront. The position is physical, rewarding, and offers scope for growth. Applicants must be available to start in July and work through September, typically during early-morning shifts.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work both as part of a team and independently, proactively with the public and the wider staff.
- Maintain beaches and surrounding areas tidy by removing litter, debris, foliage, and correctly disposing of contaminants and dangerous objects.
- Clear access routes, paths, promenades, excess sand, and other amenities to ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive seafront.
Ideal Candidate:
- Passionate about the local environment and community benefits.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and experienced in similar roles.
- Strong customer-care and communication skills.
- Strong sense of initiative and attention to detail.
- Ability to work outdoors for most of each shift.
Shift Patterns: Shift patterns vary by seasonal demand and cover up to 5 days a week, including Bank Holidays and weekends. Positions are available for shift 12:00-20:00 and for shift 6:00-14:00. Holding a fully valid UK driver’s licence is advantageous but not essential.
