Join Our Team as an Occupational Therapist – Make a Real Difference. We’re excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to become part of our dedicated team. Our Reablement team supports individuals following a life‑changing event or a hospital stay, helping them regain independence and confidence.
What you’ll do:
- Deliver a high‑quality, efficient Occupational Therapy service in clients’ homes and community settings.
- Provide specialist OT advice, assessment, and intervention to maximise functional ability and quality of life.
- Support reablement by enabling early, safe discharge from hospital and preventing unnecessary care placements.
- Work closely with Social Workers, health professionals, carers, and families to coordinate care.
- Act as an advanced practitioner within OT and across Tricuro’s services, offering expertise in postural seating, positioning, complex moving and handling, cognition, and contracture management.
- Assess and manage risks in partnership with clients, their families/carers, and other professionals involved in their care.
What you need:
- Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an Occupational Therapist.
- Professional qualification in Occupational Therapy (Diploma or Degree).
- Experience of working with adults in a health or social care setting.
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience of multi‑professional and multi‑agency working.
- Competent in using ICT systems for clinical recording.
- Excellent communication and team‑working skills.
- Valid UK driving licence and use of own vehicle.
