We're looking for a Recruitment & Onboarding Adviser to play a vital role in attracting, appointing and welcoming new colleagues into the college.

What you'll be doing

As part of our People Services team, you'll be a trusted partner to hiring managers and a friendly, knowledgeable point of contact for candidates. Your role will include:

  • Managing end-to-end recruitment activity across a varied portfolio of roles
  • Advertising vacancies and advising managers on effective attraction strategies
  • Supporting shortlisting, interviews and offer management
  • Delivering a seamless pre-employment checking process
  • Coordinating and delivering an engaging onboarding experience
  • Ensuring all recruitment activity is compliant, accurate and well-documented
  • Providing advice and guidance on recruitment best practice and policy
  • Using HR systems to maintain high-quality data and produce insights

What we're looking for

You'll bring energy, organisation and a real passion for people. Ideally, you'll have:

  • Proven experience in recruitment, onboarding or an HR / People Services role
  • Strong customer service skills and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Confidence using HR or applicant tracking systems
  • A commitment to equality, diversity and inclusive recruitment practices
  • CIPD qualification (or working towards one) would be great, but it's not essential.
