About the role
- You'll play a key role in supporting both students and teaching staff by ensuring workshops run smoothly, safely, and effectively.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing tools, materials, and equipment for practical sessions
- Maintaining and repairing workshop equipment to a high standard
- Managing stock, ordering materials, and ensuring cost efficiency
- Supporting practical demonstrations and student learning
- Ensuring workshops meet all health & safety standards (including COSHH)
- Keeping workshop environments organised, safe, and industry-relevant
About you
- We're looking for someone who is:
- Level 2 (or equivalent) English & Maths
- Experienced in a workshop or construction environment
