We're looking for a proactive and organised People (HR) Administrator to join our friendly and supportive People Services team on a fixed-term maternity cover basis. As a key member of our People Services team, you'll be at the heart of our People Services operations, providing high-quality administrative support and frontline advice to colleagues across the college. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our HR processes run smoothly, including:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for HR enquiries
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle processes
  • Maintaining accurate HR records and systems
  • Coordinating safer recruitment checks (including DBS and referencing)
  • Supporting payroll, compliance and reporting activities
  • Helping to deliver an efficient and customer-focused People Service

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in a busy administrative or customer-focused role
  • Is highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Is confident working with data, systems and processes
  • Can manage a varied workload and meet deadlines
  • Communicates clearly and builds positive working relationships
  • Is professional, proactive and keen to learn

Experience in HR or an education setting would be beneficial, but not essential, this is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their HR career or develop knowledge of the FE sector.
