The Role: As our Learning Manager , you will develop students\’ knowledge, technical skills and character so enable their progress in education, work and life. Through their progress, also deliver benefits to employers and society. The Learning Manager (LM) will be responsible for leading and managing curriculum delivery, staff and resources, supported by and reporting to a Director of Learning. Responsibilities as our Learning Manager : Lead, manage and support their curriculum team. Lead the delivery of an outstanding student experience and strong student success. Be able to work collaboratively with colleagues and in line with the college\’s Leadership Charter. Understand their curriculum and its purposes, and ensure it develops employability skills, core skills and students\’ character. Liaise with the Student Experience/ Support team and ensure effective strategies are in place to maximise student retention and manage and champion positive student behaviour. Support and manage the implementation of quality improvements within curriculum delivery. Develop the current curriculum offer in line with need and opportunity. Manage budgets and play a key part in the curriculum and resource planning processes. As our Learning Manager , you\’ll ideally have: Level 2 (or equivalent) English and Maths Teaching Qualification or willingness to achieve within 2 years. A teaching qualification relevant to post-16 education Evidence of relevant continued professional development and/or training.
