We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic and enthusiastic Learning Manager for Mathematics, with the ability to inspire both students and staff. The Role: As the Learning Manager for Maths, you will sit within the Directorate of Foundation Studies. You will be supported by a Maths Lead Tutor and lead a team of maths teachers. You will be responsible for GCSE, Higher Maths, Functional Skills and embedding mathematics into main qualification delivery. You will lead and develop a team to ensure the highest standards in teaching, learning, and assessment. You will be involved in shaping curriculum strategies, improving student outcomes, and driving innovative approaches to Maths.
- To manage delivery, coordination and development of maths courses.
- To manage timetabling of the provision and allocation of resources.
- To support, motivate and develop a team of teaching staff to deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment.
- Develop and implement an innovative, inclusive, and high-quality curriculum that meets the needs of a diverse student body.
- Drive continuous improvement in student outcomes, retention, and engagement.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective provision and progression pathways.
- Work across curriculum areas to support the embedding of maths into main qualification delivery.
- Monitor and evaluate performance, using data-driven insights to enhance student engagement and attendance.
- To develop and implement strategies to improve retention, achievement, success and progression for students.

- Holds a relevant teaching qualification and a higher level qualification in a related subject.

- Has a sound understanding of FE sector regulations, funding, and inspection frameworks.
