Due to continued growth, Bournemouth & Poole College is expanding its team and we're looking for inspiring Lecturers in Mathematics to help our students succeed. You'll play a key role in building learners' confidence and supporting them to achieve essential qualifications that open doors to further education, apprenticeships and careers. About the role: This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality, engaging teaching across GCSE and Functional Skills Mathematics. You'll create inclusive and motivating learning experiences that help students develop their skills, confidence and resilience, while supporting their progression into further study or employment.

About you: You're a committed and enthusiastic educator who is passionate about student success and will bring:

  • A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
  • A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
  • Experience teaching Mathematics (GCSE and/or Functional Skills desirable)
  • The ability to inspire, motivate and engage learners of all abilities
  • Strong organisational and classroom management skills
  • Confidence using digital tools and technology to enhance learning
  • A commitment to inclusive practice, safeguarding and student wellbeing
