We’re looking for experienced Air Traffic Controllers to join our professional, close-knit team at Bournemouth Airport. Operating within Class D airspace, you’ll manage a diverse and demanding traffic mix across a wide range of flight profiles and procedures. This is a hands-on operational role offering real variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic airport environment.
What You’ll Need
- You will hold a UK CAA-issued ADI licence (APS desirable) and be required to validate at Bournemouth Airport as part of your continued employment.
- You will have a UK Class 3 Medical (or be able to meet the standard) and meet ATCO English Language Proficiency Level 5 (ICAO Level 5).
- We are looking for a flexible and resilient individual with excellent communication skills, who can cope with the pressures and demands of this safety-critical role and adapt their approach as circumstances require.
- You must also be able to successfully complete a DBS / criminal record check and provide a minimum of five years’ referencing history.
- Ideally, you will also hold an APP rating and a Meteorological Observing Certificate.
- Experience of at least two years as a valid radar and tower controller would be highly beneficial, providing you with the background to operate effectively in a demanding, dynamic air traffic environment.
