We are looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Humanities to join Bourne End Academy on a maternity cover contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage and inspire students across Geography, History and/or Religious Studies within a supportive school community, helping to drive curiosity, confidence and academic success.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Humanities lessons (Geography, History and/or Religious Studies) that engage, challenge and support all learners to achieve their full potential.
- Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor student progress, provide effective feedback, and inform future Humanities teaching and learning.
- Differentiates teaching to meet the diverse needs, abilities, and backgrounds of all students across the Humanities curriculum.
- Contributes to student progress and wellbeing through effective tutoring, pastoral care, and strong safeguarding practices.
- Works collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to enhance Humanities curriculum delivery and maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.

- Holds QTS (or equivalent).

Pay Range M1 - UPS3 £34,398 - £52,490
