- Hours: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 08:30 to 16:00; Wednesday 08:30 to 16:15; Friday 08:30 to 14:30
- Responsible to: School Business Manager and ultimately Headteacher
Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team under the direction of the responsible Teacher to support teaching provision and the development and implementation of learning for pupils.
- Facilitate the learning of individual pupils and groups under the guidance of the responsible Teacher, setting high expectations and promoting positive attitudes to learning.
- Prepare, plan and deliver specific intervention programmes, adjusting activities according to pupil response and need.
Essential Requirements
- Demonstrate awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children.
- Have GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent appropriate qualification).
- Hold a Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or a willingness to undertake one.
