We are seeking an Admissions and Attendance Officer to join our team at Epsom Primary School, part of Bourne Education Trust.

Details

  • Position: Admissions and Attendance Officer
  • Contract: Permanent, 38 weeks per year (term time plus 1 week), 30 hours per week
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, working pattern to be discussed at interview. Daily start time will be no later than 8:30am
  • Salary: Surrey PS5.2, actual salary £19,303 (£27,634 FTE)

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Be responsible for all school admissions both September intake and in year admissions and the undertaking of the School Census via the Department of Education
  • Be responsible for the Waiting List and Admissions for the School Nursery - and the administration of the Surrey Nursery Funding Portal
  • Be responsible for school attendance in conjunction with the Senior Leadership Team and for the administration of Penalty Notices via Surrey County Council.

Essential Requirements include:

  • Ability to demonstrate an awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children
  • Experience working in an office environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
