We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join our team at Pyrcroft Grange School, part of Bourne Education Trust. This role is focused on supporting children in the ASD Centre, which can include children from multiple year groups, with EHCPs and different learning needs.

Position Details

  • Position: Teaching Assistant (ASD Centre) – Full time, fixed term contract until 31 August 2027.
  • Start Date: September 2026.
  • Salary: Support Pay Scale 3 (FTE £24,330 Actual £17,330).
  • Responsible to: Headteacher.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working as part of a team, under the direction of the responsible Teacher, support teaching provision, development and implementation of learning for pupils.
  • Under the guidance of the responsible Teacher, facilitate the learning of individual pupils and groups, setting high expectations and promoting positive attitudes to learning.
  • Prepare, plan and deliver specific intervention programmes, adjusting activities according to pupil response and needs.

Essential Requirements

  • Ability to demonstrate an awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children.
  • GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent appropriate qualification).
  • Ability to evidence effective continuous professional development.
