Position: Attendance Officer

Contract: Term time, permanent

Start Date: September 2026

Salary: Actual salary £22,554 - £24,162 (FTE £27,634 - £29,604) based on 36 hours a week term time only

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily monitoring of all aspects of attendance (including punctuality), ensuring accurate records are maintained.
  • Analyzing data and producing attendance reports to relevant staff, including daily reports where necessary.
  • Liaising and intervening with parents, students and staff to improve student attendance.

Requirements

  • Awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children.
  • Experience working in an office environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
