Lead the transformation of a next-generation cyber risk intelligence dashboard serving private equity portfolios across client's global transaction practice.
The Opportunity
Client's Risk Capital, M&A and Transaction Solutions practice is undergoing a data platform transformation — rebuilding the analytics infrastructure that serves private equity clients managing complex, multi-entity cyber risk exposures across deal lifecycles. This role sits at the intersection of specialty and financial lines insurance expertise, cyber risk quantification, and product delivery. You will own the roadmap and stakeholder relationships for a cyber risk dashboard programme that directly informs portfolio-level placement decisions, transaction liability structuring, and M&A diligence. This is not a back-office data role. You will operate at the client-facing edge of client's specialty risk analytics capability — where financial lines intelligence meets private equity deal velocity.
What You’ll Own
- Dashboard programme leadership— Define and drive the product vision for Client's cyber risk intelligence platform serving PE portfolio monitoring and transaction diligence workflows.
- Data product strategy— Translate complex cyber risk and insurance data requirements into structured product specs, working with engineers, actuaries, and underwriters.
- Stakeholder management— Serve as the connective tissue between transaction advisory teams, data engineering, and PE client leads; manage competing priorities without losing velocity.
- Delivery ownership— Run sprint planning, backlog prioritisation, and release coordination across cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
- Specialty insurance framing— Bring financial lines fluency to product decisions — understanding how cyber, W&I, tax liability, and D&O data translate into structured portfolio-level insight for PE clients.
What We're Looking For
- 7 years+ in product management or data specialist roles within specialty or financial lines insurance— cyber, transaction liability, D&O, W&I, or adjacent lines.
- Demonstrable cyber risk domain knowledge — coverage structures, financial lines placement, or exposure data.
- Track record delivering data or analytics products end-to-end.
- Comfortable with ambiguity at programme scale; able to structure complex stakeholder environments.
- Strong communication — translating technical data concepts for non-technical senior audiences.
Advantageous
- Prior experience within client, Marsh, WTW, or a major specialty / financial lines broker or MGA.
- Exposure to transaction liability products — W&I, R&W, tax liability, contingent risk — in an M&A or PE context.
- Familiarity with cyber risk quantification frameworks (FAIR, CRQ modelling).
- Experience working with structured specialty insurance data: premium, limits, retentions, coverage benchmarking, or loss triangles.
The Context
Client's M&A and Transaction Solutions practice advises on some of the world's most complex deals — from pre-close cyber diligence through to post-acquisition portfolio risk optimisation. The PE Portfolio Management & Analytics team sits within Risk Capital and is building a first-in-class data platform to serve this mandate at scale. The cyber risk dashboard programme is a strategic transformation initiative — not a maintenance project. You'll be shaping something new, with senior visibility and a direct line to how client's transaction practice evolves its data capability over the next three years.
