As our Email and Push Marketing Specialist, you will own the end-to-end channels, providing strategic direction, influencing cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality, data-driven communications that drive measurable results. Main responsibilities
- Strategy and Planning
- Partner with the Senior Marketing Manager to define the strategic vision for email and push communications.
- Plan, coordinate and oversee all automated, BAU, and ad-hoc campaigns (newsletters, community updates, events, cross-sell opportunities, and retention activity).
- Manage the central email and push calendar, balancing business priorities with member engagement, preferences and lifecycle stages.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure campaigns are cohesive, on-brand, and designed to maximise member experience.
- Dotted-line collaboration with Analytics for segmentation, reporting and performance insights.
- Build, design and delivery
- Serve as the internal Dynamics 365 Real-Time Marketing expert: setup, deployment, troubleshooting, and optimisation.
- Guide and support Marketing executives in building high-quality campaigns and templates.
- Design, build and optimise automated journey flows and event triggers to drive engagement and relevance.
- Ensure all campaigns meet accessibility, mobile-first and brand standards.
- Collaborate with design/production teams for campaign asset development.
- Identify opportunities to enhance platform capabilities and boost campaign performance.
- Audience targeting and segmentation
- Translate member insights into actionable audience targeting and personalised campaigns.
- Develop and maintain a robust CRM segmentation and targeting strategy, in collaboration with Analytics.
- Maintain compliant use of member data, managing consent, preferences, suppression and unsubscribe processes.
- Testing, Reporting and Optimisation
- Lead structured A/B and multivariate testing across creative, subject lines, CTAs, timings and segmentation.
- Analyse campaign and journey performance, providing actionable recommendations to Senior Marketing Manager.
- Maintain a repository of test results, learnings, and best practices for continuous improvement.
- Monitor deliverability, inbox placement and push engagement, resolving issues proactively.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, emerging channel capabilities and best practice.
What will make you successful?
You will have:
- Proven experience in email and push campaign management, preferably in a membership or customer lifecycle environment.
- Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Real-Time Marketing or similar ESP platforms.
- Strong knowledge of automation, journey flows, triggers, and segmentation.
- Solid understanding of GDPR, data privacy, deliverability, and consent management.
- Strong analytical skills; ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Experience with A/B and multivariate testing, campaign optimisation, and performance reporting.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across internal departments and with external partners.
Desirable
- Passionate about customer engagement and building meaningful relationships through email and push.
- Curious, data-driven and comfortable experimenting to find what works best.
- Collaborative and confident, able to influence cross-functional teams and guide colleagues without direct reports.
