Role Overview: We are looking for enthusiastic team players to join our busy catering team. As a Pot Wash Assistant, you’ll work behind the scenes keeping the kitchen running smoothly — washing dishes, utensils, and equipment, maintaining cleanliness. As a Coffee Shop Assistant, you’ll be front of house, welcoming customers, preparing drinks, serving food, clearing tables, and ensuring the coffee shop stays clean, friendly, and inviting. Both roles are fast-paced and hands-on, ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in high standards, and brings a positive, can-do attitude to every shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash and sanitise all pots, pans, dishes, and utensils efficiently.
• Ensure all cleaned items are correctly stored and ready for use.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the pot wash and kitchen areas.
• Assist with waste disposal, including recycling where possible.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed.
• Support the kitchen team with basic tasks during busy periods.
• Always follow food hygiene and health and safety regulations.
• Greet and serve customers with a smile, ensuring they feel welcome.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks, snacks, and light meals to a high standard.
• Handle payments at the till, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the coffee shop, including tables, counters, and equipment.
• Assist with restocking and organising supplies as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and accommodating requests.
