Responsibilities
- General cleaning, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and polishing
- Sanitation and disinfection of toilet areas, canteen, kitchens and appliances
- Emptying of waste and recycling bins into appropriate collection containers
- Surface cleaning of all furniture, furnishings, chairs, tables, desks, shelves and windowsills
- Internal window cleaning
- Requisition and replenishment of washroom supplies and cleaning products/equipment
- Maintenance of cleaning equipment (vacuum/floor cleaners, etc.), ensuring tools are stored correctly and equipment is regularly emptied/cleaned
- Maintain health and safety standards and prompt reporting of issues, incidents and hazards
Qualifications
- Excellent attention to detail and cleanliness standards
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift for the duration of the shift
- Friendly, approachable and willing to learn and adapt to changing circumstances
- Initiative, motivation and enthusiasm with a professional attitude
