Role Overview: As a Cash Office Assistant, you’ll be responsible for handling the store’s financial processes, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately, and supporting the team in maintaining compliance with company policies. Your attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process and reconcile daily cash, card, and voucher transactions.
- Prepare banking deposits and ensure secure handling of all monies.
- Monitor and maintain records of petty cash and float balances.
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies in cash handling or reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including security protocols.
- Provide support to the wider team during busy periods or as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong numerical and organisational skills.
