About Bound

Bound is the FX copilot for fast-growing businesses. When companies earn or spend money in foreign currencies, exchange rate movements can quietly eat into their margins. That’s FX risk. Hedging is how businesses protect themselves against it, but traditionally it’s meant clunky broker calls, spreadsheets, and opaque pricing. Bound replaces all of that with smart automation and real-time control, making currency hedging simple, flexible, and transparent.

We’re FCA-regulated, backed by a recent $25M Series A, and trusted by over 200 companies including ManyChat, Paddle, and Tines. We’re a small, high-output team based in London. We ship fast, care deeply about craft, and believe the best fintech products feel effortless.

The Role

The Business Development Manager owns new business, from first outreach through to a client’s first trade. You’ll be responsible for the full acquisition cycle: building pipeline, running discovery, demoing the product, closing the deal, and leading the client relationship through onboarding until they are live and trading. You’ll need the commercial maturity to run shorter or longer deal cycles and the credibility to hold a room with a CFO or Treasurer.

Once a client completes their first trade, you hand the relationship to the Head of Desk who takes ownership of growth and retention from that point. Your focus is always on the next new logo.

Tasks

  • Drive revenue growth by acquiring new logos within our target market, finance teams at scaling, internationally active businesses
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities, primarily through outbound prospecting and supported by marketing demand generation
  • Conduct effective discovery conversations to identify the real cost of manual FX management for each prospect
  • Run compelling product demos and presentations that clearly articulate why Bound is the right solution
  • Negotiate and close deals, consistently exceeding quota
  • Lead the client relationship through onboarding and to their first completed trade, ensuring a smooth handoff to the Head of Desk
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Bound’s product, the FX market, and the challenges facing finance teams managing currency exposure
  • Keep accurate CRM records and contribute to weekly pipeline reviews
  • Pass prospect and customer feedback to the product and leadership teams

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, with a track record of exceeding quota
  • Experience selling to finance stakeholders, CFOs, FDs, Finance Managers, or Treasurers
  • Comfortable running the full sales cycle independently, from cold outreach to close
  • Experience in SaaS, Recruitment, Events or Financial Services sales preferred
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple deals and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication, clear, direct, and credible at senior level
  • Always looking for ways to learn and improve
