Bouncy.ai is a fast-growing creator tech platform helping creators, brands, and online businesses build smarter links, mobile-first websites, and deep-linking experiences that convert better. We already handle high-volume traffic, with millions of redirects every month, and we are now looking for a part-time junior developer/product engineer to work directly with the founder on improving the platform, shipping new features, and building new products inside Bouncy. This is a great role for a university student, master’s student, or junior developer who wants real startup experience and the chance to work on a live SaaS product with real users.

The Role: You’ll work closely with the founder to help build, improve, and maintain parts of the Bouncy platform. This will include working on user-facing features, dashboards, website builder tools, analytics pages, internal tools, UI improvements, bug fixes, and small product experiments. You won’t just be given random tickets. You’ll be involved in building real product features and learning how a fast-moving SaaS business works from the inside.

What you'll be working on:

  • Building and improving features across the Bouncy platform
  • Working on frontend UI, dashboards, templates, and website builder components
  • Fixing bugs and improving user experience
  • Helping build internal tools to make support and operations easier
  • Improving product flows, onboarding, and conversion-focused pages
  • Working with modern tools such as React, TypeScript, Firebase, and AI-assisted development tools
  • Testing features and helping maintain a smooth user experience
  • Learning how to ship fast in a real startup environment

What we're looking for: You do not need years of commercial experience. What matters most is that you are sharp, reliable, curious, and able to learn quickly. You should have:

  • Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Some experience with React or a similar frontend framework
  • A basic understanding of backend development or APIs
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and reliability
  • The ability to work independently after being given clear direction
  • Interest in startups, SaaS, creator tools, or online business
  • A willingness to learn fast and use modern AI development tools

Nice to have: These are not required, but would be a bonus:

  • Experience with Firebase or Google Cloud
  • Experience with Next.js, React, or Tailwind CSS
  • Experience building side projects
  • Basic UI/UX taste
  • Experience using Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar AI coding tools
  • Interest in product design, growth, analytics, or conversion optimisation

Who this role is best for: This role would suit someone who is currently studying computer science, software engineering, web development, or a related subject, or someone early in their development career who wants hands-on startup experience. If you have built your own projects, websites, apps, tools, or experiments, that is a big plus.

Why join Bouncy?

  • Work directly with the founder
  • Build real features used by real users
  • Learn how a SaaS startup is built and scaled
  • Flexible part-time hours around university or other commitments
  • Opportunity to grow with the company
  • Fast-moving environment with no corporate nonsense
  • Great experience for anyone interested in startups, product engineering, or building their own company in the future

How to Apply: Please apply with:

  • Your CV or LinkedIn profile
  • A short note about why you’re interested
  • Links to any projects, GitHub, portfolio, apps, websites, or anything you’ve built
  • Side projects matter more than perfect grades.
