Bounce Teachers is recruiting on behalf of primary schools and specialist provisions for dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants to provide 1:1 support to children with a range of special educational needs. These are long-term roles ideal for candidates who want to make a real, lasting difference to a child's educational journey.
The Role
You will be working closely with children, supporting their learning, development, and wellbeing in a nurturing primary or SEND school environment. You'll collaborate with class teachers and the school's SENCO to implement tailored support strategies and help your pupil thrive both academically and socially.
Hours: 8:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Long-term, term time only
What We're Looking For
- Experience supporting children with SEND (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, physical or learning needs)
- A patient, positive, and child-centred approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a school team
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, or equivalent experience)
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
