Required for September 2026, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, positive and flexible Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join the team at our vibrant village school, working in our Reception class.

The successful candidate must have:

  • GCSE grade C (or equivalent) in both English and Maths
  • Experience of working with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • A proven track record of working as part of a team and working under own initiative
  • A professional approach and high personal standards

The successful candidate will show the ability to work with all children in our Reception class, supporting them individually, in small groups and in the classroom, and will be expected to support the class teacher in the preparation of resources and implementation of the curriculum. Our teaching assistants are fully involved in the life of the school and this will also be an expectation of new staff. The role will also include break duty cover, outdoor learning and lunchtime supervision.
