Boughton Engineering is a growing engineering and fabrication company delivering high-quality work for the commercial waste industry. We are currently looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team due to increased workload.
The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and fabrication work in a busy workshop environment, producing components to engineering drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities- MIG welding (2mm – 15mm)
- Fabrication and assembly of components
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Ensuring high standards of workmanship and quality control
- Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
- 1 year previous experience as a welder or fabricator/welder
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Competitive pay depending on experience
