Day to Day
- Complete vehicle checks at the start and end of each shift complying with all HGV driving rules throughout your shift to ensure there is no unnecessary damage to vehicles
- Ensure safe and prompt delivery of goods across Cheshire and surrounding areas, carrying out multi-drop deliveries to both commercial and personal addresses and handling customer queries on delivery providing a high level of customer service
- Manoeuvring trucks into loading and unloading positions, ensuring loads are secured, provide support in the yard including handball or pump truck deliveries where required
What will you bring?
- A valid category C&E license is essential
- Current CPC and tachograph card
- Previous experience in an HGV driving role
- Excellent communication skills to be able to handle both customer queries and collaborate with the Boughey team on site
