A unique opportunity has arisen for an Engineer to join the Boughey team in Wardle on a part time basis working 25 hours per week. You will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs of the packing equipment within our Co-Packing department.

Day to Day
- Responsible for the maintenance and repairs on packing equipment.
- Supporting health & safety and quality standards by ensuring equipment and the surrounding environment is safe and up to standard.
- Helping with asset management, spares, and contractor support.
- Creating and updating key documents like risk assessments and safe systems of work.
- Sharing your technical expertise with the team and supporting training.
- Playing a key part in continuous improvement projects.
What will you bring?
- Engineering apprenticeship with NVQ Level 3 - Level 2 would be considered with experience.
- Excellent understanding of health & safety and quality systems.
- Project management and problem-solving experience.
- IT skills - SAP experience would be advantageous.
- Strong communicator both written and verbal with a positive attitude.
