Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of our co-pack department, ensuring our customers receive first class service through personable leadership of the operations team.

Day to Day

  • Coordinate and guide Production Operatives & Line Leaders to achieve the daily warehousing targets and KPIs set in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, dispatching, and assuring quality goods promoting SAP system processes and handling colleague non-compliance appropriately.
  • Organise and maintain inventory and storage areas, ensure shipments and inventory transaction accuracy dealing with any discrepancies ensuring corrective action is taken.
  • Maintain all record keeping and document necessary information for a clear handover to the management on the following shift.
  • Pro-actively identify improvement opportunities liaising with H&S, Quality & ESG, Continuous Improvement and Warehouse Management.
  • Lead and motivate the team, contribute to an atmosphere in which employees are encouraged to volunteer ideas and are engaged in what the company needs to achieve.
  • Support investigations, disciplinary hearings & welfare meetings where appropriate.
  • Utilise employee productivity and performance data to review accordingly, identifying opportunities for reward and recognition for high performers to the Co-Packing Management Team.
  • Be aware of and adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety Policy, taking responsibility for the health, safety, environmental and welfare of yourself and others in your departments, as well as informing the Co-Packing Manager if any improvements need to be made.

What will you bring?

  • Experience within a supervisory role within a warehouse environment.
  • Knowledge and experience of health and safety principles, IOSH would be advantageous.
  • Computer literate with experience of working with warehouse management systems; SAP, Microlise, Contrado, Capture IT would be advantageous.
  • Proven leadership and effective communication skills with the ability to direct, coordinate and motivate with strong organisational skills.
  • Initiative-taking with an eye for problem solving and continuous improvement.
