Role Overview
The QA Tester will execute test cases for firmware and mobile app builds, identify defects, and maintain detailed documentation. This role is well suited for candidates early in their QA career or those looking for a flexible, part-time engagement.
Responsibilities
- Run test cases for mobile app and firmware builds based on structured test plans.
- Test functionality, UI flows, firmware update behaviour, and device interactions.
- Log issues clearly in JIRA or similar systems with screenshots and steps to reproduce.
- Perform regression testing after fixes.
- Provide feedback to engineering and product teams on overall quality and user experience.
- Assist in building and maintaining a consistent QA process.
Required Skills
- One to three or more years of manual QA testing experience.
- Experience testing iOS or Android applications.
- Ability to follow test plans and document results clearly.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as JIRA.
