Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role owns the global strategy and execution required to generate, maintain, and continuously optimize sufficient qualified pipeline to achieve bookings and revenue goals across regions, segments, and routes-to-market—including integrated campaigns, ABM, digital demand, partner programs, lifecycle marketing, sales development alignment, and the effective use of AI to improve targeting, execution speed, and marketing performance.

This role will lead a global team responsible not only for generating qualified pipeline, but for maintaining the volume, quality, velocity, and conversion of pipeline required to support global bookings attainment and revenue performance. The ideal candidate is a proven B2B SaaS revenue marketer with a track record of delivering measurable results through modern demand generation, rigorous performance management, strong cross-functional partnerships, and the practical application of AI to accelerate pipeline creation and improve marketing efficiency at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and evolve the global go-to-market strategy for the Global Corporate Solutions portfolio, translating business goals into a clear commercialization plan across segments, regions, and routes-to-market, and incorporating AI into demand generation and execution models to improve pipeline creation and marketing efficiency.
  • Partner closely with Sales Development, Marketing Analytics, Product Management, and Sales leadership to align marketing strategy with global pipeline coverage requirements, bookings targets, and revenue growth goals.
  • Define where and how Bottomline invests to generate demand, including target segments, priority solutions, buyer personas, go-to-market motions, and AI-enabled approaches that improve targeting precision, campaign performance, and pipeline productivity.
  • Own executive level understanding of corporate payments and cash management markets, buyer trends, and competitive positioning. Leverage insights to guide strategic decisions and investments.
  • Translate GTM priorities into campaign themes and programs that build awareness, engagement, credibility, and a durable flow of qualified pipeline sufficient to support global bookings and revenue objectives, using AI where it creates advantage in insight generation, personalization, optimization, and scale.
  • Establish portfolio-level measurement standards including pipeline sufficiency, pipeline contribution, funnel health, conversion/velocity, launch adoption, program ROI, and performance against bookings and revenue goals.
  • Develop differentiated value propositions, messaging frameworks, and positioning tailored to corporate buyer personas (CFO, Treasury, AP/AR, Payments, Finance Operations).
  • Determine how solutions marketing supports the full revenue lifecycle, from first touch through pipeline creation, opportunity progression, deal close, and expansion.
  • Ensure sales teams are equipped with strategic narratives, value stories, and solution frameworks that advance buyer conversations.
  • Act as an executive partner to Sales leadership on enterprise and strategic accounts, complex deals, and new market opportunities.
  • Lead and develop a global solutions marketing organization, setting clear strategic priorities, operating principles, and success measures.

Key Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in B2B SaaS/enterprise technology marketing with senior leadership scope.
  • Proven ability to define and lead global go-to-market strategies for a portfolio of solutions, including positioning, launches, and pipeline generation.
  • Strong strategic and commercial acumen: segmentation, prioritization, offer strategy, and translating insight into executable GTM plans.
  • Demonstrated track record of generating and sustaining sufficient qualified pipeline to meet or exceed bookings and revenue objectives, with a strong understanding of funnel levers, conversion drivers, and performance measurement in global B2B organizations.
  • Experience applying AI to drive pipeline generation, improve targeting and campaign performance, and unlock measurable marketing efficiencies through productivity, optimization, and scalability.
  • Exceptional executive communication and storytelling skills; ability to simplify complexity into compelling narratives for internal and external audiences.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills in a matrixed environment; effective partner to Product, Sales, Customer Success, Sales Enablement, and Revenue Operations.
  • Experience in fintech, payments, treasury, financial operations, risk/fraud, or adjacent enterprise platforms selling into CFO organizations is a plus.
