We are looking for a highly motivated new business sales professional to join our UK Financial Messaging Sales team, based in London. This is a hybrid role with occasional attendance at our office in the City.
Position Summary: As a Channel Sales Manager in the Channel Partnership team, you will be responsible for creating, developing, and nurturing a sales pipeline that leads to new business opportunities. Experience in selling solutions to Banks, Non-Bank Financial Institutions, via partners and/or Multi-National Corporations is required. Knowledge of domestic and cross-border messaging systems, SWIFT Connectivity, hosted/managed and cloud services, payment processes, cash visibility, reconciliation, systems integration, and sanction screening is highly desirable. We seek a motivated individual with a strong desire to learn and grow.
Job Responsibilities:
- Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Sell Bottomline products ethically and professionally
- Collaborate with the Director of Partnerships to meet sales and growth targets
- Generate and manage a sales pipeline, progressing opportunities through the sales process to closure
- Work with team members to maintain a positive team environment
- Create and execute target call lists and prospecting KPIs
- Manage sales nurture campaigns and maintain Salesforce pipeline
- Serve as the lead contact for customer matters throughout the sales cycle, including presentations
- Maintain accurate sales activity records in the company's database
- Participate in industry events and tradeshows, with travel as needed
- Provide management with reports on customer needs, competitive activities, and potential new products/services
- Stay updated on best practices and trends
- Seek continuous improvement through feedback
Requirements:
- Experience selling SaaS solutions to senior executives (C-Suite, Treasury, Operations, Technology, etc.)
- Proven success in networking, pipeline building, negotiation, and closing sales
- Creative prospecting and needs assessment skills
- Ability to build trusted relationships within client organizations
- Strong project management and attention to detail
- Motivated, target-driven with a sales track record
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce
- Ability to deliver tailored presentations
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
- Degree level education preferred but not mandatory
