The Role
Bottomline is looking for a Senior User Interface Developer to grow with us either remotely or in a Hybrid work environment out of our Theale, UK office! We are looking for a Senior UI Developer to innovate, win and grow with us as part of our highly skilled and dedicated UI Development group. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with multiple innovative teams, coordinate complex product integrations, and contribute to many of Bottomline’s key platforms.
How you’ll contribute:
- Collaborate with product owners and UX specialists to refine component specifications and translate those designs into accessible UI interfaces using React and related technologies.
- Create prototypes and proof of concepts to drive the future state of one of Bottomline’s platforms.
- May “float” between teams, offering senior-level UI support where needed.
- Maintain and enhance our development best practices.
- Actively participate in code reviews to enforce code quality and share knowledge.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
- Help maintain and contribute to Bottomline’s UI Design Library.
What will make you successful:
- Proficient with React and the general React ecosystem.
- Skilled in clean, valid, maintainable, and semantically correct HTML and CSS.
- Strong understanding of Responsive Design principles.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests.
- Working experience with WCAG 2.0-WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA success criteria.
- Experience with Agile methodology a plus.
- Strong communication skills are a must.
