Due to continued growth, we are now seeking an ambitious and motivated Litigation Fee Earner to join our highly successful RTA Litigation Team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage your own caseload of litigated RTA claims, primarily involving cases that have exited the Official Injury Claim (OIC) and MOJ portals, whilst developing your career within a supportive and forward‑thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a litigated caseload of Fast Track personal injury claims
- Reviewing and assessing liability, causation and quantum
- Analysing and valuing medical evidence
- Drafting and issuing court proceedings
- Conducting litigation through the Damages Claims Portal (DCP)
- Preparing cases for trial and instructing Counsel
- Negotiating settlements with insurers and defendant representatives
- Attending interim hearings where appropriate
- Providing clear, practical and professional advice to clients
- Conducting legal research where required
- Recovering damages and costs following settlement or judgment
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience handling litigated RTA personal injury claims
- Experience of OIC and/or MOJ Portal claims
- Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- A proactive and commercially minded approach to litigation
- The ability to manage a busy caseload effectively
