Bothwell Futures is a community trust dedicated to delivering the ambitions of Bothwell’s Strategic Community Action Plan — Improving the quality of life of Bothwell residents through the delivery of a program of events and activities that attract excitement and participation so that we strengthen our community identity and cohesion.
Working alongside residents, organisations, traders and partners, we strive to make Bothwell a vibrant, inclusive and sustainable place to live, work and visit.
We lead and support major community development projects, safeguard and enhance key cultural and historical assets, and ensure the Community Hub and Community Hall remain welcoming, active and accessible. Through a wide range of inclusive programmes and initiatives, we aim to reduce social and health inequalities, promote wellbeing, and create meaningful opportunities for participation across the village.

In this role you will generate sustainable income, build commercial partnerships, and identify opportunities that strengthen the long-term viability and impact of Bothwell Futures. The person we are seeking is essentially our "Chief Opportunity Finder” whose primary purpose is not simply to sell things, but to continuously discover ways to create more value from our landscape of people, spaces, reputation, relationships, and community impact. This role reports directly to a designated Bothwell Futures Trustee.
