Our Deputy Restaurant Manager – The Botanical Rooms
The Botanical Rooms is looking for a highly organised, hands‑on Deputy Restaurant Manager to act as second‑in‑command and help drive a slick, polished and memorable restaurant operation.
Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, you will take the lead on daily floor management, team scheduling, labour planning, events and exclusive use functions, ensuring every service runs seamlessly and every guest experience feels effortless.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day restaurant operation, ensuring exceptional service standards are consistently delivered.
- Deputise for the Restaurant Manager, taking full responsibility for the operation when required.
- Lead service from the floor, providing visible leadership, coaching and operational support.
- Prepare and manage weekly rotas, ensuring labour is planned effectively around business needs.
- Take ownership of operational planning and delivery for events and exclusive use functions.
- Work closely with Events, Kitchen and Front of House teams to ensure every booking is clearly communicated and brilliantly executed.
- Monitor labour costs, operational efficiency and service standards while maintaining an exceptional guest experience.
- Support team development through coaching, feedback, training and performance conversations.
