The Cambridge University Botanic Garden is looking for an experienced horticultural professional to lead their Garden Landscapes Team. As one of three team leaders reporting to the Head of Horticulture, the post will be at the forefront of managing and developing our landscapes, including their scientifically and historically significant tree collection, woodland, stream and bog garden, meadow areas, and lawns. The post will also oversee machinery, composting facilities, and hard landscaping, ensuring that every corner of the Garden is maintained to the highest standard while supporting our core goals of research, learning, and conservation.

This is a hands-on leadership role guiding an experienced team of staff, trainees and volunteers, while also getting stuck in with practical work, project delivery, and plant records management. You will help shape horticultural and arboricultural policy, oversee budgets, and plan for the Garden’s future, all while working closely with colleagues across the organisation.
