An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teacher of Chemistry to join the Science Department at Bosworth Independent School, available from September 2026 (flexible start date for the right candidate). The Science Department forms the core of our learning community, with three Year 12 and two Year 13 A Level Chemistry classes and a wide range of nationalities.

Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will teach Chemistry to A Level and GCSE students, while also being capable of teaching all three science disciplines at GCSE level.
  • Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons, delivering a wide range of practicals with high safety and organisational standards, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and supporting the University Foundation Programme (UFP).

Qualifications & Person Specification

Essential Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject. Understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
