We are looking for a Care Assistant for maternity cover, with a current bank role available. The role is based at Bosworth Care Home, Southdown Avenue, Weymouth, DT3 6HR.
Responsibilities
- Person‑centred care: supporting residents with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and oral care while promoting independence and choice.
- Care planning: contributing to care reviews to ensure support plans reflect individual needs.
- Medication support: administering medication safely and in line with procedures.
- Activities & companionship: taking part in social activities, outings, and meaningful engagement within the home.
- Team support: helping new or existing colleagues through shadowing and teamwork, and supporting the smooth running of the home when required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK. Under new guidance we are unable to accept skilled or student visas.
- Caring, positive, and reliable individuals.
- Previous care experience is not essential; fully funded training is provided.
Opportunity
Night Care Assistant – 42 hours per week, 8pm to 8am on a two‑week rolling rota (including alternate weekends). Night pay rate £13.35 per hour.
