Purpose Statement

To drive the achievement of business growth through focused market/competitive analysis and the provision of a long-term strategic marketing plan in coordination with the country Management and EMEA division/franchise counterparts. This position is responsible for the elaboration and execution of the franchise Plan and budget as well as the implementation of Marketing excellence standards within his/her group.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Develop and execute the Axonics EMEA marketing strategy based on market insights, competitive intelligence, and global product strategy.
  • Lead the SNM portfolio strategy and co-create the overarching Axonics plan with the Marketing Lead for Bulkamid.
  • Lead SNM launch planning and execution, including sales enablement on positioning, value proposition, and commercial strategies.
  • Support and represent the Axonics franchise in BSC planning processes, including StratPlan and AOP in alignment with the EMEA Axonics Sales & Marketing Director.
  • Develop formalized country marketing plans aligned with the EMEA Strat Plan, AOP, and local sales objectives.
  • Drive EU marketing strategy and implementation plans by identifying critical local market questions, defining appropriate marketing tools (e.g., account segmentation, HCP profiling across OAB and FI), and coaching country sales teams on effective utilization.
  • Prioritize launch focus areas based on business objectives.
  • Partner with the GEM team on launch execution and strategic planning.
  • Facilitate best-practice sharing, leverage tools and learnings from established markets, and ensure alignment between local, EMEA, and global product strategies.
  • Collaborate with regional and country franchise marketing partners to ensure synergy between the Axonics franchise and the legacy Urology portfolio.
  • Build deep industry and category insights, including the medical device sector, incontinence market (medical and surgical), competitive landscape, and BSC positioning.
  • Translate insights into actionable strategies across respective markets.
  • Maintain comprehensive product knowledge, including anatomy, disease states, technology, procedural steps, regulatory considerations, and competitive dynamics.
  • Apply this knowledge to inform strategy and tactical execution.
  • Support sales organizations through marketing processes and tools, including HCP engagement initiatives, event planning, and sales enablement resources.
  • Manage stakeholder communication across Axonics and Urology teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of country strategies and customer programs.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs).
  • Design and manage efficient processes for Product Manager(s), ensuring delivery of high-quality, value-added outputs within agreed timelines.
  • Champion quality and compliance standards in all activities.
  • Act as an interface with clients and sales teams to ensure complaints or issues are properly documented, escalated, and resolved.
  • Ensure all campaigns and events adhere to internal and external regulatory requirements.

Who are we looking for:

Years of experience: 8+ years of experience with sales and/or marketing positions in the MedTech industry; EMEA regional scope is preferred.

Qualifications: Business education, scientific degree.

Languages: Fluency in English.

Technical Knowledge: Proven experience of working in a matrix environment with cross-divisions across the country and throughout EMEA. Leadership and people management skills. Excellence and Proficiency of P&L management: financial and budgeting aspects.
