Boston University Study Abroad London is seeking a lecturer to redesign and teach an elective course in Global Health as part of our Fall 2026 London Internship Programme for American study abroad students. The new Lecturer will be required to adapt the existing Sargent College course, Introduction to Global Health, currently offered in Boston, for delivery in London. Preparatory work will be undertaken during Spring 2026, ahead of the first delivery in Fall 2026.
Responsibilities
- Redesign the Introduction to Global Health course for the London Internship Programme.
- Prepare course content, assessments, and teaching materials during Spring 2026.
- Deliver a 5‐week course in the Fall semester, amounting to 40 classroom contact hours across ten sessions.
- Cover final exam content and conclude the course on Friday 2nd October.
Qualifications
- PhD in a relevant discipline required.
- Proven track record in innovative, student‐centred pedagogy.
- Excellent cross‐cultural communication skills.
- Strong record of undergraduate teaching, ideally with experience supporting international or Study Abroad students.
