Responsibilities

  • Drive, direct, and lead the development and execution of the Country Strategic Account Management & Solutions strategies for specific Boston Scientific key target accounts.
  • Drive execution of the plan through leadership and coaching to the Commercial Architecture & Solutions Delivery Team members.
  • Maintain knowledge of the industry and competition; continually seek information from physicians, suppliers and others to challenge, modify and prioritize strategies.
  • Own the shadow HS&P for the country and drive adoption and profitable growth of the Advantics solution portfolio.
  • Lead the country Healthcare Solutions and Partnership team, the Strategic Account Management, Solutions Architect and Delivery functions; ensure talent is hired and roles/responsibilities are clear, with key capabilities in place to deliver on strategy and objectives.
  • Drive incremental product revenue through hospital program deals.
  • Oversee the commercial framework for Key Accounts within the country and adjust strategies according to country requirements.
  • Identify top accounts within the region, considering operations, financials, politics, criteria, strategic imperatives, decision makers and processes.
  • Ensure Boston Scientific builds strong, coordinated, sustainable, binding relationships with key influences within these accounts.
  • Mentor Strategic Account Managers to identify and develop relationships with the economic buyer in key accounts.
  • Create a competitive bundle of products and value-add services & solutions across divisions.
  • Evaluate situations affecting both the account/customer and the country's overall business needs.
  • Help define negotiation parameters for economically constrained customer situations.
  • Play an active role on the Country leadership board.
